The painting depicts a woman with her head replaced with a blue eyeball holding a scepter and orb showing that she is royalty. The eye's pupil is in the shape of a crown once more showing that she is a queen and has a high position above everyone else. The words at the top of the canvas "And she was queen" are meant to show a narration by someone other than the lady on the canvas. The woman represents one of Caylen Faith's friends who she adores but also feels less than and obligated to please.
